学校の話の続き / Continuation of talk at school

昨日学校に通い出す話をしたので、少し続きを。
ジュエリーの学校では、彫金とワックス、あと通信教育でデザインを勉強していました。
彫金というのは、糸のこぎりで地金を切ったり、ヤスリでやすったり、ガスバーナーで熱したり、曲げたり...
ワックスというのは、柔らかいデザインなどを作る時に役立つ、ロウで出来た素材をけずりながら、形を作って原型やパーツを作るもの。
そんな勉強や、オーダーいただいたのを制作していたら(これについてはまた書きたいと思います)、 2年くらいがだったころ、代々木校は突然クローズすることに...
どうしようか考えて、御徒町の本校に通うことは断り、学校は終了することにしました。
あとは自分でやりながら、時々お勉強しようと決めました。
そして最初にフィレンツェのジュエリー学校に1週間行ったのでした。

ドーモを背中にベッキオ橋を渡った先にあります。
時間とお金の都合で、1週間だったけれどとてもいい経験でした。

And I went to jewelry school in Florence for 1 week first.

It was 1 week by time and convenience of money, but it was very good experience.
If there is a person who would like to study a jewelry in the person reading this blog, it's better to go to Florence.
